VERSUS Journal (ISSN: 0393-8255) welcomes manuscript submissions from researchers, academicians, professionals, and students across diverse academic disciplines. As a multidisciplinary academic journal, VERSUS Journal encourages original research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the dissemination of scholarly knowledge across various fields of study.
The journal aims to maintain high standards of academic quality, research integrity, and editorial transparency. Authors are encouraged to submit original and meaningful research contributions that advance knowledge and promote intellectual exchange within the global academic community.
1. Types of Manuscripts
VERSUS Journal welcomes the following categories of scholarly contributions:

2. Submission Guidelines
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts meet the following requirements before submission:
- The manuscript is original and has not been published previously or submitted simultaneously to another journal.
- The manuscript follows the prescribed format and structure.
- The title, abstract, and keywords accurately reflect the content of the study.
- All sources, references, figures, tables, and quotations are properly cited and acknowledged.
- References are accurate and consistently formatted.
- The manuscript has been carefully proofread for language, clarity, and presentation.
- All listed authors have made appropriate contributions and approved the final manuscript.
- Any relevant conflicts of interest, funding sources, and ethical approvals are disclosed, where applicable.

3. Submission Process
Authors are requested to follow the steps below when submitting a manuscript to VERSUS Journal:
- Prepare the manuscript: Ensure that the manuscript meets the journal’s scope, originality requirements, and submission guidelines.
- Format the paper: Follow the prescribed paper format and referencing requirements.
- Submit the manuscript: Send the manuscript through the journal’s designated online submission system or official submission channel.
- Initial editorial assessment: The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for relevance, originality, completeness, and compliance with submission requirements.
- Peer review: Manuscripts considered suitable proceed to the double-blind peer-review process.

- Editorial decision: Authors are informed of the final decision following the review and evaluation process.
- Publication: Accepted manuscripts proceed to editorial processing and publication after completion of the required formalities.
There is no fee for submitting a manuscript. Article processing charges apply only to accepted manuscripts, as outlined in the publication fee policy.
4. Review and Publication
VERSUS Journal is committed to maintaining scholarly quality through editorial assessment and peer review.
The review and publication process includes:
- An initial assessment of the manuscript by the editorial team.
- Evaluation of the manuscript’s relevance, originality, academic quality, and suitability for the journal.
- Double-blind peer review for manuscripts considered suitable for external evaluation.
- Revision of manuscripts in response to reviewer recommendations, where required.
- A final editorial decision based on the manuscript’s quality and the journal’s publication standards.
- Editorial preparation and online publication of accepted manuscripts following completion of the required procedures.
Under the double-blind peer-review model, the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the review process.
Review timelines may vary depending on the subject area, reviewer availability, and the revisions required.
5. Article Processing Charges (APC)
Publication Fee: ₹2,000 / USD 200 per accepted manuscript
There is no submission fee for manuscripts submitted to VERSUS Journal.
The article processing charge is applicable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
The publication fee covers the following services:
- Peer-review administration
- Editorial processing
- Manuscript formatting
- DOI registration
- Digital archiving
- Open-access publication
The APC supports the editorial and publication processes required to prepare accepted manuscripts for dissemination to the academic community.
Authors are encouraged to review the applicable payment instructions and publication policies before completing the publication process.
6. Publication Ethics
VERSUS Journal encourages responsible research practices and is committed to maintaining academic integrity throughout the publication process.
Authors are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles:
